Strange article on the Times website.

If we have such a shit defence why are we the ONLY team in prem not to concede a goal? Not our fault who we play in opening games, don't see much difference in the teams we have played to those played by Chelsea or the Rags.

We're winning, we've got 6 points out of a possible 6 points, havent conceded and beat Barca in between

I'd rather have an unconvincing win than a sterling performance but only a draw

Nice one Sam. I'm well with you there pal.

In fact i love the ARSEHOLES who want City to fail. Especialy the likes of Gollum and old Bacon Face.

All it is doing is making our lads not only Gel but damn right GALVANISE!

It is... and that bloody banner's going to become a curse - the whole theme of the piece referenced the gratitude to Mansour throughout!
People can do as they want, but that banner is an embarrassment to City fans.

What a crock of shit. You and your cronies will never be happy unless your back in the 70's wearing flares with a proper a typical English fella in charge of the club and all the other shite things to have come from that period.

however hughesy knows this and i think once lescott is bedded in, we will be fine

All the centre backs in the world wont help if attacking players hang around on the half way line in smoking jackets when we lose the ball.

Or those same strikers can't put one more of the 8 or so gilt edged chances we created away!!

I thought we played quite well against Blackburn and perhaps less so yesterday, but that being said most clubs have already dropped points and we haven't Everton have done that for years. Their record against the better clubs is shocking but they beat the lesser clubs

I think so far, so good, is how our start can be described. I thought we played well against Blackburn, they put us under alot of pressure first half, which is what you expect when you play away, but I thought second half we deserved it. Last season, or the season before that, we would have lost that type of physical, tough away game, but the fact we won it 2-0 without being particularly brilliant, is definitly a positive sign. I thought there were some positives from yesterday, at the end of the day 3 points is 3 points. United beat Birmingham unconvincingly, and Chelsea needed a last minute winner against Hull.

With Lescott coming our defence should be tightened up. We will get better, I'm positive of that.

i dont think they were particularly easy games.blackburn away, physical aerial bombardment never say die spirit, they have some decent players.great win
wolves likewise, still in the honeymoon period with no real pressure, when we tired they pressed and caused us problems making it a nervy 2nd half.survived and points in the bag.
the footballing sides will cause us problems, but it wont be aerial bombardment and this will be to our strength and maybe we can beat these teams too.we will soon see!

Mindblowing to me.

We hadn't beaten Blackburn in seven years at Ewood Park.

We beat Barcelona one nil for the Joan Gamper trophy. Barcelona the European Champions. A trophy they have won twelve out of the last fourteen times it has been competed for.

The first half yesterday was beautiful to watch.

We scored relatively early in all three games and the opposition couldn't score.

Perhaps if they had City would have switched up a gear.

Its just great to see City winning. I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts.
