How do you get rid of the adverts that are blocking the screen? Pressing the x button just seems to send you to another link.

You have to click of the the correct cross. And, sometimes you have to wait for a timer to finish counting down.
The sites with decent streams (WiziWig) tend not to use spammy adverts.
