Strictly

Tasha was my winner, she is deaf so had her own problems but chris is something else , diana is the best teacher ever !
Ever? That’s a bold call Mrs. Plato and Socrates will be spinning philosophically in their graves. And my old English teacher, she would be fucking furious. We bought her a mug and everything. She thinks she’s the champ. This could get tetchy. I’m sorry I came in here now. Never watch it so haven’t a clue. The same deal with the football threads. I just wing it.

Yesterday Chris was 1/33 to win and Tasha was 33/1 to win.
Bookies reckoned Chris had a 1000 to 1 better chance of winning.
Its a popularity contest at this stage
If Nureyev or Margot Fontayne made an appearance, they'd probsbly lose out to Alan Carr or Rob Beckett.
It was good originally but now its a pantomime.

I know he is blind but Chris was the worst of the 4 finalists.
You wouldn't put him up front for City

He was the worst in the final but learning to dance to a decent level when you are blind is mind boggling , the work that went into that is amazing and very hard

I agree with you there.
He's a very likeable guy. I saw him on Countdown a few times and he can memorise the letters and numbers without seeing them and can make longer words than I can when I can see them in front of my eyes for a full 30 seconds.

I suppose with Strictly and Dancing on Ice, it's better to realise the voting audience are not experts and are going to vote for someone who comes over well.
I thought JB was excellent
Could do with his snake hips running through the rags defence this afternoon.

He would get a game today, lol

But isn't that really skewed?
If he was the "best" in the final then fair enough....but the "worst?"
How is that even fair to others who have tried equally hard?
It just seems that there isn't a level playing field at all.

You might want to rethink that last sentence

He never saw that coming

Watched it with the kids, other than the gladiator they had absolutely no idea who any of the celebrities were, and I also was scratching my head with some of them! Paul from neighbours, somebody from a fish market, a rugby bloke, I don't even remember anyone else.

Littlest was really disappointed with Mr Gladiator actually. She said she didn't know he's actually a big head. Can't disagree. Younger, fitter and stronger than any of the others, clearly a favourite and he well knows it. Unless his attitude puts the public off of course.

But I suppose that is where the journey starts, in actually getting to 'know' the celebs. I imagine we'll last until the Halloween episode before interest is lost.
