Striker handouts - Sorry Bobby I don't agree with you

Perhaps just maybe we may sign someone, I mean it's not as though we're short of money are we? I'm pretty confident in Mancini and whatever his reasons he didn't rate RSC or Ade. RSC was woeful and Ade obviously had mega issues with not just Mancini, I mean the last time he played he was almost scrapping with Vincent on the field, I'm no sports psychologist but I guess that's not ideal.
I would be happy to see us sign a quality young striker, one who won't demand 1st team action all the time but that is more than good enough to play, someone like Lakaku or Munuian.

We should be grand for strikers. Our best system is playing with 1 up front in my opinion. With the back up we have in Jo and Mario when he returns along with Tevez and Dzeko we should be grand.
With all of the loan deals out there must of been some sort of fee involved for the players I wonder how much they got for them? So if we can sell some of these lads on loan it will be a great the deal for Ade isnt too bad not a major hit we are taking if it works out. Rocky we may get a better deal than we all expected as Blackburn seemed to have come into money so you never know we might get a couple of million for him.
Now if we were to move on SWP and Given ( if he is not in Mancinis plans ) and get some sort of fees for them it would be a good transfer window for the club as they would be saving some money from wages for players that wont get too many games here.

Jo is better than RSC and Adebayor and Mancini clearly cannot work together.

Sorry I don't agree with you.

Now that is funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People keep sayign its ok we have Jo as back up....back up for what??????......the tea lady!!!!?????!!

Im more of a goal threat sat in the bloody stands than that guy is out on the pitch!!

If balo's injury reoccurs or worse we lose tev as well then our season could well come to a grinding holt.

RM has taken a huge risk and it could blow up in his face.....

If he could get someone else in (or if he thinkgs the reserve lads are ready to add cover then fine...othrewise relying on Jo is extremely risky (and a non footballing decision...its purely based on personnel issues (with ade, swp and even RSC)...and as everyone is very fond of saying on here "noone is bigger than the team" - that includes RM)

the "personal issue" mancini has with ade swp and rsc is just one : he believe they are shit players.

After the "cock-up" last year where we let Joe Hart on loan without considering possible recall in the event of injury.
It is just possible we may have "deja vu" with our strikers. Cynical rival players tend to target "key players" like Tevez for deliberate injury. There would be huge implications if he got injured and we did not have adequate cover.

Roberto Mancini Is the manager, He decides who he wants to retain and who he wants to get rid. If he says Manu leaves then for whatever reason he must go it's a simple as that.

I was/am a fan of Manu's I was well chuffed when he signed but if the boss doesn't want him then we have to accepy his decision, as for a replacement I don't think one is necessary because we only really play with one up font and at the end of this season we could end up with Bellamy,Manu, caicedo and RSC back at the club.

if he thinks they are worse than Jo then he has a problem!

Im only going off what people say on here that there iis (or was) a personnal issue between RM and certain players....but if he is putting Jo ahead of either RSc (who I dont rate) and ade on a footballing basis he is clearly wrong...and if he has done it becuase of an issue he has with them personnally then he has put his own personnel feelings before the best interests of what happens on the pitch

and if you honestly believe that Jo is a better player than Ade or Rsc then you are not worth talking to

ps...and if ade is shit why does mourinho want him??????

and if that one is Jo?????...the we have a real problem!

Knee injuries are a nightmare to get over...nd this one has been bugging Balo for quite a whiel now.....If he breask down again after a few matches he will miss possibly more games.

Dzeko isnt upto speed yet - it could well take him till the end of the season to adjust (it took yaya a while and some ofthe others, thogh converesly it onyl took silva a few games - but we dont know do we so again its a risk)

Tevez - he has already said he is exhausted....that is only going to get worse if Balo is out for too long....

RM has taken a risk - if it comes off he is a genius....if it doesnt it could affect our fight to get a top place....

Myabe RM knows that Balo will be fine (I hope so cause i cannt wat to see the guy flying and fully fit)...and maybe he thinks dzeko will take to the prem very quickly (ie the next couple of games) - I really hope he is right

I agree with Santa Cruz going as he truly was a waste of space , but Adebayor i am not so sure about . I didn't realise he had quite a good record here at city with 19 goals in 36 games , even though he has been out of the side this year , he is still the fourth highest scorer with 5 goals and that was in 4 games he has played . When he is bad and not in the mood , there is no point in him being on the pitch , but when he wants to play , he can score a hat full . He was our second top scorer last year with 14 league goals and missed a lot of the season with suspensions , and tragedy. He is a very good striker and near the end of the season he came in with a lot of goals , when he started to hit form . Look back at his time at city , when he scores a goal , lots more follow , e.g 3 against poznan followed by 2 more against wolves and poznan again. 2 against burnley , then 2 against birmingham , four goals in his first four games for us . When he gets a goal , he can't be stopped . But I side with Bobby , as I always will as he is a quality manager , I just hope we won't regret selling both ade and RSC .
