Striker handouts - Sorry Bobby I don't agree with you

Sorry? Jo is better than Ade? Better grafter, maybe. But a better player? Not even close. Problem with Ade is that he can't be arsed most of the time. I'd have him before Jo though.

Haha, he didn't mean that I don't think. He meant, Jo is better than RSC. AND......Adebayor and Mancini cannot work together. If he meant Jo is better than Adebayor I don't think he should watch football anymore. I'm not even sure Jo is better than RSC.
Haven't been back to the thread since I posted that. Reading JB's post again, I reckon you're right; I didn't read the 'and'' correctly. My apologies to Joga.

We play a front three, we don't play a front two - if needs be, we can pick one of Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli, Nimely, Guidetti or Jo and flank them with two of Silva, Johnson, Milner...

Shitloads of depth. I'm glad that we're shifting the superfluous staff off the wage bill.

Indeed! We will be fine since we play with one striker and two flankers (not wingers)/ inside forwards. And I'm glad we're fucking off the useless, trouble making or injury prone bastards. Hopefully more to follow either this or next window. I want a 25 man squad of useful players who contribute to our season.

Roberto Mancini Is the manager, He decides who he wants to retain and who he wants to get rid. If he says Manu leaves then for whatever reason he must go it's a simple as that.

I was/am a fan of Manu's I was well chuffed when he signed but if the boss doesn't want him then we have to accepy his decision, as for a replacement I don't think one is necessary because we only really play with one up font and at the end of this season we could end up with Bellamy,Manu, caicedo and RSC back at the club.

and if that one is Jo?????...the we have a real problem!

Knee injuries are a nightmare to get over...nd this one has been bugging Balo for quite a whiel now.....If he breask down again after a few matches he will miss possibly more games.

Dzeko isnt upto speed yet - it could well take him till the end of the season to adjust (it took yaya a while and some ofthe others, thogh converesly it onyl took silva a few games - but we dont know do we so again its a risk)

Tevez - he has already said he is exhausted....that is only going to get worse if Balo is out for too long....

RM has taken a risk - if it comes off he is a genius....if it doesnt it could affect our fight to get a top place....

Myabe RM knows that Balo will be fine (I hope so cause i cannt wat to see the guy flying and fully fit)...and maybe he thinks dzeko will take to the prem very quickly (ie the next couple of games) - I really hope he is right

sometime it seem to me you haven't a clue about what manage a team means.

JO maybe shit as you want but IF he is willing to be the 4th choice without create issues in the dressing room then he is an important team's reasource.

while RSC being so injury prone cant be reliable in a 25 team men rule.

and adebayor IF is NOT willing to be 4th choice without create issues IS NOT a team's resource but just potential or effective PROBLEM. it seem very simple to understand.

then there is the FFP problem that have to be considered. do you think is smart keep on the bench as 4th choice a player who get 150.000 pounds per week ?

Like I said I dont rate RSc very much but he went back to blackburn and played in the game this weekend....so he has been fit to play....if so he should have been ahead of Jo on the bench

Ade shouldnt have been 4th choice to Jo....he has just passed his medical no problem at real madrid so again no injury problems...yet Jo gets ahead of him on the bench///I can perfectly understand Ade's frustration with Jo being ahead of him...anyone can see that ade is far superior to Jo in every way

ade would have been 3rd choice for most of the season..(we have only just signed dzeko) and balo has been injured for 2 substantial periods..therefore that was only ade and jo as back up..yet RM STILL chose Jo over him for he bench....and when ade did get on the pitch he scored and was then dropped! No wonder he was pissed off!...he didnt get a fair crack at the whip at all

No its not smart to keep a player on the bench who is on 150,000 a week...its smart to give him a bloody chance to play especially infront of a far inferior player (jo)...he wasnt given this (or not enough)

I had to agree but now he is gone so we must move on.

I do hope we get a striker in with a bit of pace, I really think this is the one thing we are badly missing

well balo has the pace and the strength so if we knew he was going to be free of his knee problems then we dont need anyone, but therein lies the problem.....we dont know if he is going to shake this knee injury and if he doesnt then we are short......If there was a problem with ade then ok...in the end he has to go.....but since the start of the season he hasnt had a decent chance....and now RM is taking a big risk in having Jo as our back up striker (unless the young lads are good enough which I dont know as ive not realy seen much of them)

Yes I agree Balo has pace, but not devestating pace.

I rate him very highly and think he is technically very gifted!

Yeah I have been dissapointed that he hasn't played and yes we may have lost points due to this but if this was the price for the players to understand that he is the boss than job done!!

Onwards and upwards my friend!
