Ended up in Valentines in Chorlton for my stag do in 1973, when they had strippers on, blimey what a night.

I played squash there as well - not on my stag do I'll add.

When I worked at ICL on Wenlock Way in Gorton, at lunch time they had topless barmaids in the pub at the end of the road, can't remember what it was called now. That was 1974 - 79 ish.

Mate of mine had a lap dance on a stag do, in Benidorm. He was wearing pale grey jeans at the time, and she was grinding up and down his thighs. Afterwards, he walked back to the bar and we noticed brown skid marks on his jeans. Oh how we laughed. Still funny now.

For those talking of Canadian strip clubs, I don’t know whether it’s just an Alberta thing…but the custom seems to be to throw coins at the strippers rather than giving them notes!! It was a real WTF moment the first time I saw it in a Calgary club. The girl was stunning, and at the end was walking around picking up loonies and toonies on the stage floor (not what some of you are thinking…$1 and $2 coins). Seemed an unnecessarily degrading finish to the act. They roll paper up into a cone, point it at themselves and punters (men and women) take shots at getting it in. Like a game of Pervy darts.

A real head shaking moment.
