Stuart Brennan. MEN.

I dont buy it anymore.
However , i think the criticism of the paper on this thread seems a tad harsh.
Also commendable for SB to come on the forum to defend his corner.

Anyone remember what was on the home page of the MEN website the day after after our 4-1 win? An article all about that rag's oh so hilarious Alex ferguson best man speech and how many worldwide hits it had on YouTube. If I didn't know better I would think this was an attempt to deflect attention from the previous weekend's events.

Until fairly recently I dismissed the idea there was an anti City bias but these sorts of things have now happened far too often to be a coincidence.

Noticed a lot of negative headlines in past but never looked closely enough to form proper opinion. Today's city online headline is good though "........Valdes snubs switch." But nowhere in the article does it say we made an offer. I was always under the impression he was likely to go to Monaco.

Never had a problem with Stuart, or what he writes. Never been keen on Spencer though always seemed to sneer and wallow in our bad times.

If you don't like what they write, don't read it.

If you don't like what pundits say don't listen to them.

It's quite easy. If you don't hear or read anything bad about us then it won't upset you!

The head in sand brigade, all sounds very familiar, Sieg heil!

Normally Mr. Brennan comes on here and defends himself with grace and does his newspaper a lot of credit. But it's been quite the opposite on this thread, he's been dragged into mud slinging and throwing around baseless accusations.

x2 - the real hatred of a rag is surfacing!

Did anyone think that Mr Brennan has reacted under stress, he can see the demise of a once good local paper and he could be worrying about his own future therefore his responses have not been as thoughtful and even tempered as normal?

Anyone looking at the prospect of redundancy/job loss etc cannot really be expected to react as they would within a settled environment.

Just my thoughts on a strange reaction from Mr Brennan.
