Behaved like a proper cock towards Ian Cheeseman in that clip.Today Pearce is a prick who holds no fondness for City, did we treat him that badly or something? I remember one of Cheesy's blogs where he interviewed Pearce in the press area, Pearce was having his free grub by the looks of it and the contempt with which he answered Cheesy's questions was one of 'how dare you interrupt my dinner, please fuck off', gave him barely any response. That says to me what sort of a person he is.

That period was truly shite.10 goals at home all season ..................................it was one of the most miserable periods of my time watching City. Not sure how I survived it .
And any moaning about the performances these days doesn't eaven touch the sides !

Never came close to packing it in notwithstanding Pearce's best efforts but I remember waking up one Saturday morning and thinking "oh fuck, got to go to City today".
I guess the point is that we were shit and we knew we were but we hung on in there and maintained that hard-won reputation of proven loyalty that united and liverpool fans can only dream of and which they and their placemen in the media have spent the last 12 years trying to eradicate.
