Number three in London today, pretty much day two of action elsewhere. Anyone going to one today? Going to the Manchester one around 1/2... the snow is very much welcome :-)

More action to follow on the weekend.

Leave student hate below along with police hate and general hate.

The mass student sit-ins here in Newcastle look set to continue into a sixth day. One spokesman said: 'We're prepared to remain here all day. One of us brought in a Family Guy box-set and we've got Cranium and plenty of Frosty Jack's'.

Tree in Newcastle's inner-city park.

Splinter, attack the sides of the kettle where the week points occur due to the end officers having no grip :-)

As an old Manchester alumnus,I should really attend this to support, but sadly I have to venture to that there London for a presentation.
Best wishes to those protesting - be sure to aim a semtex snowball at some plod on my behalf.
Oh,and be prepared for 15 pages telling you that you should be out looking for a proper job from the usual right wing gloom and doom merchants.

I'd like to go but I'm.....busy doing the stuff that students are actually supposed to do, unfortunately :(

I can totally agree with the protesters to be serious. Whatever you think about fees/right to free university, etc - the fact is a very specific promise was made and then brazenly went back on, it's pretty much bang to rights.

That's what gets to me, a promise was made and then it was broken. Happens all the time and it's about time the Gov need to realise it's wrong. Also it's interesting that the EMA cuts go against those between the ages of 16-17 and yet Cameron is against giving them the vote. Not saying EMA is right for all however I'm just putting that out there. I'm lucky, finish at 12:30 today so can do the work then head down!

Well I'm off to college then to the protests. One hoodie, one adidas jacket with hood and one waterproof jacket... and a scarf and mask. Nice and warm. :-)

-- Tue Nov 30, 2010 8:30 am --

Oh yeah, good luck to all those protesting and thanks to those who are supporting it. For those who aren't supporting it and think we're twats, I'll chuck an extra snowball just for you :-)
