Student Protests #2

LOL at these students.

They'll get off their arses to protest but won't get off their arses and get a job.

Yeah! Beggars belief, not like the good old days when Students didn't go to university they had full time life long jobs, didnt protest they just got fucked over and got on with it. Lazy, tax dodgin, hippy, excitable, violent, over-tax paying shits. Kill them all and put them in jail for life.

Can not actually believe the ignorance of that comment. As someone rightly said before, if you want to do well in your degree then you have to work fucking hard. I work 9-5 in uni and then additional study out of that. This week alone I have already clocked up 40 hours work. So I work the same if not more hours then a lot of people who do full time work. The development of the country depends on graduates as much as any other workers if not more.

As for police I used to hold them in high regard until a family friend of mine got attacked after the derby by a united fan. we were near asda and there were at least 20 police within 10-15M of us and none of them even moved to help him. (I was ahead of him and did not realise until it was to late.)

That's spot on.

Any fucker can go to uni and learn to be a heart surgeon but it takes a special kind of person to turn up to work on time 5 days a week and put in a shift.

I've yet to read 1 student claiming that the 9-5 world is a piece of piss yet every single schlepper who has a part time job at Asda is on here slating people who wish to educate themselves.

I'm genuinely grateful that despite my families working class roots, when I opted to be the first uni graduate on my side of the family (ever) they offered me nothing but support and encouragement.

I'd also like to say to all the young lads on here considering further education - go for it, fuck what the bitter 9-5 crowd think, fuck what anyone thinks, do your thing, better yourself, have fun and learn.

-- Thu Dec 02, 2010 6:41 pm --

Please take your stupid childish comments elsewhere

Thats all you will get out of him, I personally think he is flat footed or failed the interview/physical and now has a hatred of police, as every post he ever makes, seems to reference "piggies" he also has an unhealthy obsession with the end of the world. A visit to CAMHS is required I think.

Wow, how insightful. For a start, my family would disown me if I was a piggie. Secondly, I'd rather die than be a piggie and can assure you I've never contemplated joining even for one random killing of a black guy or just one rape of a 15yr old girl.

Piggie, you'll get yours yet.

Again, I have a job already, but I want to go to university so I can get a better job, one that I have a real passion for and actually want to succeed in.

As highlighted on Have i got news for you last night, one student said "there are no jobs out there but they expect us to pay 9k a year which over 3 years is 21k"

Perhaps its just no jobs with maths involved for that student

Just like to say fair play to the students occupying Roscoe building. Easy way to get banners and meetings sorted. Shame about the management being the only ones against them, having to sit by the doors to keep them open when it's -10 is a joke when everyone including security is with them. I however am too pussy to sit outside when it's -10.

Some interesting things going on when I didn't think would, top stuff.

This place is unbelievable. You can either not get a job to concentrate on your studies or get a job and potentially do less well in said studies.

The common result? A slating from the occupation police on here.
