Stupid little things that bug you

Football Commentator’s who insist on pronouncing players names as if they’re in the players home country… eg, Hoolie Ann Al - Varez (Alvarez) ,
Ser Joe A- whero (King Kun) & the latest one You ree Tea Lee Mons (Youri Tielemans)
A kunt - (Andy Robertson)

As if it wasn't bad enough that my headlights come on if I drive under a bridge, the satnav goes into night-mode too. So much for automated technology making life easier.

Agreed. That Kinkladze goal against Southampton where the commentator says its typical of Gi-or-gi really annoys me,but not enough to stop me watching it every so often though. (It is, of course, pronounced God).

What does it do, speak more quietly?

Ha ha brilliant. Could be a thread in its own right this one.

That would be a good feature instead of the shrill harridan that normally barks at me. I'm never under a bridge long enough to quite work it out. I think it changes colours, maybe goes to a softer backlight.
Waze definitely does this. I think it’s to do with when sunset technically is, so it’ll go into night mode at twilight.

Never really understood why this is so important to people.
I saw a thing years ago that showed that the people that put the paper on so that it comes over the top and at the front were, for the most part, male and the ones that did it the other way were mainly female.
Apart from the obvious reason that the physics dictate that it should be over the top and at the front, I personally am not in touch with my feminine side enough to go against the norm.

I don’t even notice which way it is!
