sturridge gone to chelsea

He will be a hit there. Sometimes having "bell ends" in your squad is needed.

If true, then so be it. He was always going to leave, and whilst he was an exciting young talent, I have it on fairly good authority that he was a bell end of the highest order. I suspect he'd fit in well at Chelsea. See ya Danny.
Amussing but I concur nevertheless

He's got to be completely deluded if he thinks he is going to get even 16 starts at Chelski ahead of Drogba and Anelka, plus Chelsea will still buy another top class replacement for Drogba and not rely on a 19 year old for backup to those two.

Maybe a few medals for some sub appearances will ease the pain of getting those subs bench splinters out of his arse.

Until I see it on the OS it's paper bullsh*t. Personally I hope it isn't true but if it is I hope he breaks his f***ing legs first game for them. It would be worth hanging on to Danny Mills or Didi Hamann just to f*ck him up when he played against us (cos let's face it who would give a sh*t if they got a season long ban).

Not met the lad but nobody seems to have a good word to say about danny as a person. Everyone can't be wrong. Great potential but maybe we're better off without him.

My overriding memory of DS is him doing fancy stepovers and tricks all the way down the wing and off for a goal kick against, err, was it Fulham? Good luck to whoever ends up with him.

Id put money on him never getting a league start next season, overrated, bad attitude and has ideas way above his level

Last week I was of the opinion that it was probably best for Studge's career for him to leave City as his first-team opportunities would be limited.

And I said I would wish him well if he went somewhere like Hull, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Sunderland etc for a couple of years. He'd be able to pick up at least 20k a week, play almost every game, and put himself in the shop window for a move to a bigger club's first team further down the line.

That would've been the best thing for his career, and I would completely understand him leaving City to do that.

But if it's true that he's gone to join Chelsea's reserve team, it just proves that it was always only ever about money and that he couldn't give a shit about actually playing football week in, week out. Shame.
