It amazed me how he won the young player of the year award ahead of Big Phil.

Sturridge is a good player, but nowhere near what he thinks he is (yet anyway)

Personally I think its a bad move to Chelsea at this stage. He wasn't even a reserve player for us, never mind Chelsea. Like Scott Parker and a few others that have gone to Chelsea, I think he has gone too early. He will sit on the bench (if he's lucky) for two years then sign for someone like Bolton
