Even though it does seam a bit strange with all the money we have why didn't we pay him a little extra and may be sell him around4-5 mill next year.

I feel its the right decision as if this would gone through we would see other youngsters not in the first eleven shouting for a pay raise. This was a good decision to set as an example.

Obviously you like the player, as it's ur username.

If you think he's one of the best U21 players in the world your on another planet. It's something you say about Messi,Fabregas,Robinho,Torres when they was u21 or very hard to say but Rooney when he come onto the scene, as he's English is a good example when he was at Everton he was one of the best u21 year old players in the world playing for England at 16-17 Sturridge can't even get in the England U21s. And if you ever seen Bojinov at 18-19 playing in Italy he was 10 times the player Sturridge is now.

He's an impact player who has had about 4-5 good games for City coming off the bench when he's started he looks lost and trys to do it all on his own shooting from everywhere. Do you really think with all the money we have got the Club would let him go if he was that good? Why was Rags,Arsenal or Liverpool not in the market for him or Madrid or Barca? This is just typical Chelsea. Mark Hughes knows a good striker when he see's one. I would of kept him on the terms the Club offered don't get me wrong, and sent him to Sheff utd or somewhere on a years loan as he would of been behind Tevez,Eto'o(if they come as expected) Robinho,RSC,Bellamy,Bojinov and maybe even Big Phill. If Chelsea are going to have him as 3rd choice striker and pay him 60k a week good luck to them.

Sturridge will be a class act in the future however I think he will regret leaving City more than we will regret not keeping him.
