sturridges celebration

He wasn't excatly estatic was he ? what a miserable bugger. He acts and looks the arrogant man he's always been portrayed as. Not saying he has't got talent just wish he had a bit of personality to go with it.

saw that too...

i honestly think he doesnt want to be at city anymore.

regardless of the goal i actually think sturridge was poor today. Ireland for me showed the difference in mentalities..he set sturridge up as opposed to trying to score. Sturridge on the other hand more than once tried to score himself from difficult positions instead of laying it off, thus wasting the chance to have made it 4-2 earlier.
If Sturridge wants to stay..great..but after this performance, and Hamburg, I dont see a player with any sense of team ethic or one who is happy at the club and with his team mates. And that doesnt make me happy..as he is a good player.

He wasn't happy because he always lost the ball when he had it. I think Sturridge want to be the star in the team and thats fair enough but right now its Robinho and he carnt take his place, im saying this because Robinho never gets the ball from sturridge when he is in a good position to score.

Now I thought, despite him being a Brummie, that he is actually an Arse fan.

baggie or no baggie if he had scored a screamer he would have celebrated plus he looked pissed off not respectfull of his childhood team, his ego got in the way of celbrating, show him the door thinks he's bigger than the club in my eyes

It looked more like he was relieved to score and alleviate some frustration, rather than anything sinister.

this ...... spot on IMO mate, and all these doom and gloomers can F *% k off, we won 4-2 today, had some nice football played and when a youngster scores, to insure we win the game, which was looking in doubt in the last 10mins, we should be happy ! not Bit "* ing about his celebration !

exactly. he felt embarrassed because he had a poor game and he was gifted a goal from Stevie (when the vice versa should have happened earlier).

to say hes a miserable player is just ludicrous. he usually crip walks as a celebration for fucks sake.
