Bit of grass missing.....meh.

However we do it and I don't think an open training session will do we need to test out the new areas before Chelsea.

We should have regular pre-season fixtures v Crewe, Macc, County and The Dale. Doesn't matter if it's not the first team. Get it sorted Marwood. We pay through the teeth for everything from tickets to dog collars and they fuck off to the colonies, trying to appease the renegades and convicts! Just not good enough.

How about something for the groundhoppers? Visits to teams new to the league where we've never played previously; Yeovil, Dag 'n' Rag, AFC Wombles etc. Or even a Sky Blue derby at the Ricoh.

Will we be playing a friendly at home over this weekend similar to the Thomas Cook Trophy as the Community Shield is off the agenda this year?

Just that there is nothing on the club website, are they waiting to confirm an opponent or is it a free weekend but that seems unlikely
Don't mention that; it'll all kick off on here now!

If, as rumoured, we asked to be away first so we could complete the expansion then no home fixture and that's not including the point made above re additional revenues. We'll get the local fans in the following weeks when the PL commences so take the big cash games before that.

Game on 1st August away at Stuttgart. There is a direct flight but its looking a bit pricey - I'd look for alternatives and trust the trains.

I went to see a game there last season on a detour after the Bayern away game. Its a nice ground, with a great beer garden outside, but obviously you can drink at your seat/standing place whilst the game is on anyway.

Its not the best city in Germany, but in the sunshine the Schlosspark (sp?) is nice. Stuttgart is home to Europes largest brothel too - didnt have time for any of that though so can't offer any recommendations

Are you serious?
Brilliant!

We went to Stuttgart v Hertha Berlin in 2014 (the same day that City beat Stoke 1-0)

There’s a huge Sports Bar outside the stadium called Palm Beach (it’s on facebook) with about fifteen gorgeous waitresses, all of them dressed in white tee shirts and red skirts/shorts.
It’s even got table football and darts.

Inside the city centre, there’s a little old town, with traditional old style English pubs.
It’s about two hours on the train from Munich, but it’s an easy ride from Dusseldorf, if you book early enough.
