Have a safe and relatively straightforward trip by car! 2 of us lucky plane-goers will be in Frankfurt tomorrow before heading down by train to Stuttgart on the Saturday morning.

anyone know the approx/going taxi fare from stuttgart airport to say stuttgart centre or opposite the stadium across the bridge? our hotel is about 20 minutes away from the stadium and 25 minutes from the airport.

Airport to main station (city center) around 30€. You can also use the S-Bahn, 25 minutes then. A group ticket for one day (max. 5 persons) is 19€ for the use of the entire network, so you can use Bus, U- or S-Bahn as often as you like to. Its valid until 5 A.M. of the next day after you bought it.

I heard that public transport is free on match day with a match ticket but don't know how true. Looked at the route by U/S - Bahn but looks like it will take about 40 odd minutes after changing at various directions then walking to a certain place so might be easier to get a taxi, chill at the hotel then go to the stadium/stuttgart centre. Well, it is live on german channel Sport1 (if you can receive it). I think they also stream it, but I don`t know if you can use it in the UK.
