We are too 1 dimansional.
Biggest bug bare for me is that when Hart gets the ball or a defender after an opposition move breaks down we don't counter attack at pace because too many players stay back. This is 100% directed from the coaching staff. The inhability to gamble. It's seriously holding us back and with the array of immense attacking players at our disposal it's almoast criminal.

I didnt watch the game today as I was engaged in other activities.. so first I did when I came home was to come on here.. And I got very mixed reactions.. But mostly people blaming our style of play for the defeat. Saying we dont have a plan b, Mancini tactics and so on...

I would like to see us up the tempo when we counter. We have the players with the skill to hit teams quick and with precision, but sometimes the laboured build up leaves the oppo with plenty of time to get 10 behind the ball.

Other than that, I'm happy as a clam tbh.

Wouldn't say Villa were lucky, they defended very well but we had no clue how to unlock them, as against Birmingham many months ago. In other words Mancini hasn't progressed and leart anything.

Fair enough.. Goal.com gave both Silva and Tevez 5.5/10. I guess when your most two potent attacking players get such a bad rating then there is little the manager can do..

we play like we are 3-0 up every game, thats why we dont thump teams, or finish them off. we invite them to attack us which will breed confidence for them

we are too transparent.

trouble is teams are drilled on how to play us, like the above poster said they defended very well,if villa had gone a goal down they would have been shafted and would have strugled to get one back without being exposed,teams have sused us yes but it shows how far we have come

the thing about bellemy as well is that he said he would be happ to play a bit role (probably because he knows his injuries wont allow him to play a major role)

In reality, he would never be prepared to sit back quietly getting the odd game or so.

He left because he couldn't function within the confines of the current manager.

were not good enough to be too good,our opoonents style of football dictates they must get a goal first,then they defend like fuk and hope,like i said above if we sore first there shafted
