Seriously, a season long ban? I think that's over the top.

That aside, it's strange that possible career ending tackles are overlooked by the FA 'as the ref may have seen it', and elbows that could break bones are somewhat ignored, but a bite is regarded as the end of football as we know it. Yes, it's bang out of order, but I really can't believe some of the shite being talked. That idiot Custis was on the BBC this morning saying that kids would watch that and replicate it in the playground - fuck off you idiot.

Truly appalling - perhaps the worst thing I've ever seen on a football pitch. A 3 match ban is the least Ivanovic should get for that elbow in Suarez's face. He could have had his teeth out.

Liverpool fc instead of banning their own player for the rest of the season which would have stood them in good light have fined Luis Suarez. And to add insult to injury Suarez will give the fine is to be paid to the Hillsborough charity fund. A good PR stunt within Merseyside, but falls well short of the expectations of other football fans.
