Both extremely talented

The synergy would have been good

Replacing one **** with a worse one
Don't get me wrong I like the team spirit that has been gained by getting rid of players like tevez but for me Suarez is one of the best players in the world and city would walk the premier league if he was in our side.

Scoring goals isn't a problem, so I fail to see the benefit of signing Suarez. Another centre-back is what we really need.
He is an absolute game changer. He nearly single handedly won the league for Liverpool this season. I think if we have another injury ravaged season we will struggle to maintain a similar number of goals with the same squad.

That's a ridiculous if. What if we'd signed Suarez and his knee blew out?

Re: Suarez

he's ****, he's already driving a wedge between the Liverpool fans that adore him. those comments are going to upset a lot of people and not just in Liverpool. he's going alright.

Which comments are you referring to, mate?

Re: Suarez

Apparently Real Madrid and Barca are both "100% trying to sign him".

He's a c*nt, but an unbelievable player.

He's probably the best in the league and I can't see Liverpool finishing top four if he leaves.

Re: Suarez

Im surprised that so many have fallen for the love in. Liverpool put all their eggs in one basket last season and fucked up royally. If it wasnt for their gung ho style of play, Suarez would have been nowhere near top scorer (or PFA player of the year...a joke in itself btw).

No surprise all his goals came in games against the bottom 10 (5 even). Its also no surprise he didnt turn up against top 5 (10) teams either.

Liverpools naivety cost them the league. When they play a more balanced style (which they will have to), Suarez' goals will fade.

His disciplinary record doesnt reflect his attitude or antics on the pitch. Could and should have been sent off at least 3 times last season.

**** of a man and wildly overrated.

Then we should also ignore Yaya, Kun and Dzeko because their goals were scored for an attacking team.

So the rightful POTY is .... Ricky van fcukin Wolfswinkel.

Re: Suarez

He's a horrible ****, using the media as an excuse to bail out on the dipper fans is weak.

Be glad to see the **** gone though.

Did I mention he was a **** yet?

The ****.

Re: Suarez

Call me a naive dreamer living on cloud 9 if you want but I believe in the Man City project which is so much more than just winning football matches.

I cannot see our beloved owner and the high flying management team EVER signing such a disgusting lowlife player.

What would happen to our brand with that poison wearing a City shirt?

If people say they would want him here for his football skills I just don't think they get it.
