Suarez - banned for 4 months (page 74)

Re: Suarez

People keep mentioning that this is the 3rd time he's bit someone, I remember the one on Ivanovic, when was the other?

What's almost as bad is after the incident he falls to the floor and suggests he's the injured party.

What's going on his head? I don't get it. He can't control his "rage", yet the theatrics and dives suggest a man very much in control. Needs a psychotherapist
I don't think rage has anything to do with it. I think all of his cheating is a calculated decision. You can see him thinking about it. Imagine if the referee did see the incident. What do you think he would've been most likely to see? The bite or the subsequent elbow and flailing about on the floor? And Italy would've been down to 9. Never underestimate the potential of top sports players to do whatever it takes to win, including premeditated cheating. We've already witnessed his willingness to cheat at any opportunity to win a game, and I don't think this is any different.
Totally agree, its not just frustration or rage, its calculated cheating, deserves a years' ban.

Try doing that in Sunday football, apart from the kicking you'd probably get, you'd also be banned from all football for a long time, if not for good.

I'm willing to wager that he gets absolutely no ban, off anyone. The PL will pussy out and claim it's not their jurisdiction so can't ban him (despite that being untrue), then FIFA will claim they don't do retrospective bans. He will get off completely free

They will it's gone global

Bad press has never stopped FIFA from doing what they want.

His first offense was against a PSV (?) player while at Ajax.

That might actually be the moment that keeps him at Liverpool. Not sure Real or Barca will want to be associated with him now.

Wouldn't suprise me if he is already getting counselling for his disorder and the racist thing.. People in the game would know all about that if it is true so obv with the speculation about him it will not matter to some teams.

Im surprised that so many have fallen for the love in. Liverpool put all their eggs in one basket last season and fucked up royally. If it wasnt for their gung ho style of play, Suarez would have been nowhere near top scorer (or PFA player of the year...a joke in itself btw).

Then we should also ignore Yaya, Kun and Dzeko because their goals were scored for an attacking team.

So the rightful POTY is .... Ricky van fcukin Wolfswinkel.
the difference being our team didnt suffer defensively as a result....liverpools definately did....maybe you missed the 3-3 fuck up?
