Suarez (sp)

yeh its looking good for the future, and we have a very strong under 16's team coming through as well, George Evans looks to have a big future and has been playing under 18's for most of the season, Devante Cole looks a decent prospect, plus we have Shay Facey, Ellis Plummer, George Glendon and Louis Hutton who have all represented England under 16's.

Henshall looked very good at the recent u17's and Bradley Robinson is another excellent prospect according to reports.

That Courtney Meppen-Walter is supposed to be a good prospect too. Represented England at under-16 level I think.

Isn't our EDS going to be joining that super-league of youth academy teams next season with the likes of Barcelona?

The New Generation League.

On a side note.........

From <a class="postlink" href="http://mcfcreservesandacademy.co.uk/news/may-2011/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://mcfcreservesandacademy.co.uk/news/may-2011/</a>

Manchester City's Academy side are currently participating in the 58th International youth tournament in ADO Den Haag, Holland.

The competition consists of two groups of four, with the winners of each group facing each other in the final.

City's group consists of ADO Den Haag, Zenit St Petersburg & Al Jazira.

In the other group are PSV, Cruizero, Legia Warsaw & RSC Anderlecht.

City won their opening game 1-0 against ADO Den Haag(20/05/2011). The hosts were reduced to ten men as early as the 7th minute and City's goal came from Jordi Hiwula although the Den Haag website have called him Jordy Mayifuila. Connor Sellars was booked for City.

City have topped their group following two more wins today (21/05/2011) defeating Zenit St Petersburg (4-1) and Al Jazira (3-1)

I was told about Jordi Hiwula 2 years ago. He is highly rated at the club. Funny thing is his dad is a rag fan and has resisted offers from them for his son to go there.
