Suarez?

Now there is the perfect conundrum, if we had to have either Saurez or Rooney which would be less painful to accept as a city fan?

Suarez. He is the player who is showing less signs of declining.

Suarez, great player despite his character, and he hates United. Rooney will always be Rag in my eyes, same with Ronaldo. Don't want either one of them at City.

No issue with Suarez playing despite his antics

Would be a media storm

Rooney too much scum baggage to be realistic

FFS, Suarez has set his heart on leaving England for obvious and well publicized reasons.

The only thing we could get from any genuine interest in signing him is a plethora of "Suarez snubs City" headlines. If Liverpool cave in to a large bid from Spain then he would love it.

He would, in that respect, mirror the Isco decision if both Real and ourselves went head to head.

Remember, the rag press have been involved in a brutal character assassination during the last 2 years. If he became a City player he would be vilified morning, noon and night. City fans might take that as " it comes with the territory" type of pub talk philosophy. For Suarez it would be unbearable.

Agree. Suarez moving from Liverpool to City would be out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Everyone knows he has to leave the Premiership

Betting suspended on Suarez to Arsenal

Haha, honestly?

Imagine them getting Higuian and Suarez, what a strike force.

It's a story running in The Sun. William Hill reportedly suspended betting since strong bets were made in Spain.

Not looked into it though
