Hope you don`t sell to a British club....then atleast we will see the back of him. Can`t be doing with a cheating , whinning, diving, moaning c++t.

I can't see him going personally unless Madrid bid silly money so he'll be whining, diving and cheating his way all over the pitch at Eastlands this coming season all being well...oh and scoring ;-)

Was Cavani an A lister when Napoli signed him ?

How old was Cavani when they signed him? 23! He's had time to develop into an A lister.

Negredo is 27.

How about Suarez when he signed for Liverpool ? Fight off Real Madrid did they ? How about Falcao when he sigened for Atletico, Barca in for him ?

At 27 years of age it is very doubtful that Negredo is going to improve very much.

People become A list players because clubs like us make them, in the exact circumstances we are doing now. Not all work out, but some do & the benefits outweigh the negatives.

List 10 players that became A list players from the age of 27 onwards.

In your own time...

Tony book, andy sinton, tony grealish, Neil mcab, imre varadi, -5 that will do
good call on Tony Book-can i add Ian Wright

Brendan Rodgers: "Cavani sold for £55m and Luis is definitely the same calibre of striker, even if Arsenal bid that amount there's no guarantee we'd sell him"

Thank you PSG for paying all that money hehe...

See if he turns up to Oz for the pre-season tour on Monday now...

Pretty much sums up a lot of fans feelings whom I've spoken to. Then there are others who see him as the second coming.

Utter bollocks !!! We only want him to be given a fair crack of the whip before the fucking doubters start to wet their fucking knickers in a tantrum !!!

Utter bollocks. Just because some posters aren't impressed with this signing doesn't mean we won't give him a fair chance and hope he does very well for us.

This is a forum where people are allowed to give their own opinions on players - positive or negative. Stop frothing at the mouth and making silly assertions.

You obviously havn`t been reading all the negative shit the lad has been getting, before he`s even kicked a ball.So stop making fucking stupid assertions yourself and read all the posts on this thread, that will tell you how many more numpties we have.

A press reporter could have then said "well Arsenal bought Van Rapist for 2 and a half million so 2 million should be enough for him"

If Real bid 40 million he'll be away.

Depends what you term an A lister. There are lots of players around that age who have their greatest success when changing clubs because their previous clubs have been uncompetitive. The rags have alone have had Cantona, Sherringham & Van Persie who have all madetheir biggest successful contributions in that kind of age group.

The idea you can only be a top player because you cost more than everyone else is complete shite.

I hope Suarez goes to Madrid, I just have that worrying feeling if he goes to Arsenal, Madrid will come all guns blazing for Sergio
