Suarez?

Suarez, Rooney, Shurrle and Lukaku as the 4?

Torres to Spain or maybe part of the deal to Liverpool :-)

Ba sold to a premiership team for cheap - lots of potential takers.

Just supposing but I don't get why they can't cast off high wage players like Torres or take losses to clear the decks like Ba. We do. :-)

I cant believe we aren't in for one of the best available players in the world.
Its very likely Aguero will be off in a season or two,Suarez could fill the gap and some.
In the meantime a forward line consisting of the above two would be devastating.

I can't see it mate, Torres is one 170k a week and he won't be wanting to drop that anytime soon let alone anybody coming in and offering him close to that.

Both Rooney and Suarez will want close to 200k a week as well, it's just not going to happen.

Beat me to the Torres coment about the money he's on. Unless he takes a pay cut(seriously doubtful) he's not going anywhere. Same with Ba. He's on a decent paycheck now. Too rich for the likes of NU, Sunderland etc.. the only clubs that could afford him don't really rate him highly enough to warrent a move.

It's not jsut the transfer fee that has to be taken into account. It's the wages more than anything. Sure Chelsea would give them away for 5-10m and clubs would be interested but the wages change everything.

Can't understand why they think he's worth substantially more than 40 million (A pretty large and fair sum when you consider) apart from Cavani and Falcao going for silly money, who are both better goalscorers than him. Rodgers bangs on about valuations in comparison to Bale but aren't these just paper talk of alleged figures bid by Real Madrid? It would appear a contractual and verbal agreement are only viable if LFC receive what they deem a satisfactory offer. They're currently saying same as Bale (Allegedly) - 100 Million, which is fucking ridiculous!

He's gonna be sulking in the reserves all year and will go for 20 Million next year as his contract runs down if they're not careful. Won't be surprised if Real make a bid now they know he's desperate to leave. Players do indeed have clubs over a barrel as we have learnt over the last few years with Adebayor, RSC, Mills and others

IMO Suarez is one of the best five players in the world. He is not, however, the type of player we need now. If he stays in England his awful reputation will follow him and he will miss a vast chunk of the season.

Why is it?

I'll ask you the same question that I asked somebody in another thread:

How come only Arsenal are in for him, then?
