Sub Keeper

Well time will tell. Just like it will for Bernardo, KDB, Pep, Haaland, Alvarez, Kovacic, Nunes, Walker, Grealish, Philllips, Cancelo, Gomez, Paqueta, Kimmich, Joao Gomez, Guimaraes, ...........................All rumours and mostly bullshit.
Amazingly no rumours about Odegaard, Sake, Ben Orange, Martinelli, Plodder, Gabriel, Saliba. How strange.

"I’m not in the beginning of the 20s so I have to choose wisely now what I’m doing in summer."

That's a direct quote from an Ortega, not a rumour.

As I said, time will tell. Lets resume this conversation at the start of next season and see. The same applies to Bernardo and Pep. Fair enough?

Can't completely dismiss this as it has probably been mentioned he is going to become a first time Father and his partner will have some say where they would bring up their newborn.

I don't dismiss it completely but anything negative the press can say about us they will..
Last reply from me. Pep has been leaving for the last eight years (rumour), Bernardo has been leaving for the past five years (rumour), Kev was leaving last year (rumour), Haaland has been leaving from the minute he signed (rumour), Aguero only joined as a means to get to Real Madrid (rumour). How negative can you get? As I said, lets see if he is still here next season.

There isn't a conversation, you said it was a rumour started by the press and was made up bullshit. Clearly he has said he is considering his options you were wrong.
The rumour is that he wants out because he said that he will consider his options in the summer.
Nobody is suggesting that his quotes are a rumour.

It seems Ortega will be seeking pastures new in the summer.

Some possible candidates to replace him:

Brice Samba, 30, Lens. Classic all round keeper. Good command of his area, excellent distribution, excellent shot stopper. Isn't the quickest off his line though.

Álvaro Vallés, 27, Las Palmas. Good shot stopper, commanding and exceptional distribution and sweeping. His handling is sub par though.

Yehvann Diouf, 24, Reims. Talented shot stopper, a little less polished and experienced. Decent command of his area, decent sweeper, decent distribution. Handling also an issue for him.

Brice Samba isn't a bad call. He is familiar in playing in English Football (albeit at Championship level).
