Sudden influx of toxic City fans

The cunts on twatter are ruthless - not from these shores. Same ones hammering Ederson and his missus.

Entitled social media twats who probably have or won't go anywhere near the Etihad anytime soon.

A small monority of these 'fans' will be using the ragebait to increase their YouTube followings. Which is a shame as they'll probably get more views than the more balanced blues on there and other platforms.
 
Inevitable that the success of the Pep era would bring in the same sort of glory hunting JCL dickheads that in previous generations would’ve been scum or victims fans, who can’t handle it once we have an off season.

Boils my piss as well but it’s an unavoidable part of being a successful football team sadly.

That and the toxic shitstain on humanity that is social media of course.
 
The world is full of cunts and the internet has given them a platform to vent their vile.

For all of us City fans that attend games there are now millions worldwide that have never even set foot in the UK.

Unfortunately this is worldwide fandom for us - a complete bag of shite.
 
Its society in general.
Everything is overheated and exaggerated.
Too many people unable to have a balanced, sensible nuanced discussion.
Binary opinions and no in-between.
Trenchant frothing at the mouth loons getting furious over the slightest thing which doesn't fit exactly into their preferences.
 
Noticed we had an influx of fans online after the treble win. Just part and parcel for a football club experiencing a sustaining period of success. Some may be young fans that don't know any better. Some are clout-chasers because the most backwards takes bring the most engagements.

Just pay them no mind. I don't bother with X much anymore, just a bunch of ads and boring "top 10" lists.

One of the reasons I applied to join this forum was because of the anonymity. As a woman I felt that (maybe) my views would be poo poohed if I posted in my real name. I've had the 'you're only a woman, what do you know about football, all my life and looked forward to just exchanging views without anyone knowing.
They wouldn't let me play football when I was a youngster so I was getting my own back so to speak!! ;-)

Instead everyone has been very understanding and kind (?) to me. Even in my hero worship of John Boy. :-)

So no I don't think we should have to state that we are or are not season card holders or membership holders.

No need to be despondent. The spirit of the club will be kept burning brightly by all those who stuck with us through some terrible times and their successors. If our soul survived Swales, it must be indestructible.

Bit worried about the youth coming through mate.

At one time in the gladiators arena someone turned to his mate and said for the first time "It's a bit cruel this", and that was the start of the end to a spectacle the Romans had going for a LOT longer than the football :)
