Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

She repeated the quasi-Nazi phrase "phoney humanitarianism" (last time it was "fake humanitarianism"). I suppose the Nazis hated real humanitarianism more than phoney humanitarianism but I'm not sure what Braverman thinks real humanitarianism looks like.
I'm not sure she understands the concept of charity, let alone humanitarianism.

She makes Thatcher's neo-liberal take on the parable of the good Samaritan look empathetic and insightful.

They should be ok - we have sent them £!40m so far

"A million people may have been displaced in the DRC..."

So Rwanda helps terrorist rebels in the DRC, that creates refugees, some come to the UK, and get sent to Rwanda for asylum "processing", get refused and then deported to "where they came from". And we would pay Rwanda to do this...

Same old predictable stuff. Reduce it to pressing buttons in people, and one lot demands more and more masochistic signalling, whilst others drop out as they reach their fill, or have second thoughts as to what it is all about.
