Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

Seems like the troll, Thornliebank, is getting some attention. Please be careful, there’s probably mental issues at play.

Braverman should do what Italy used to do. Ignore the court ruling, send them back and take the fine. It’s cheaper than having to roll out the red carpet and five star hotels for these economic chancers.
Are you talking about Tory ministers?

Zzzzz, this was planned as a Tory tactical triumph donkeys years ago, people such as strategists admitted it.

Simple game. Never solve the problem. One group - your group - will ALWAYS ask for 'firmer' action and rhetoric - they don't judge it on you tackling the issue. The promise of 'firm action and harsh rhetoric' is what pushes their button. Especially when anyone else says anything less 'firm' or criticises the 'harshness' of the rhetoric. Then these people become your hardcore supporters.

It's an established political trick, a social psychological short circuit built into us.

If (this bunch of) Tories could ship really badly behaved refugees into the country in perfect secrecy or with total deniability - and then use them as a target for 'promises of firm action and harsh rhetoric' - then I believe they would. It would guarantee they would get more supporters, they'd be more hardcore tied to the party and politicians, and more active. And they would attract another tranch of people who fall for the same trick.

In other words, wise the fuck up, they have no interest whatsoever in doing anything about this problem.

Yep, they will be secretly delighted with the court’s judgment so they pretend to be on the side of the people trying their best to solve a problem that is being thwarted by the leftie woke blob establishment that only represents tofu eating metropolitan elites. Have I missed any clichés?
