Suella Braverman - sacked as Home Secretary (p394)

So bragging about fixing your own incompetence is an election selling point?!

As Ive posted before..... the Tory Playbook.

Create a problem

Listen to the noise and issues caused by the problem they created

Throw a load of money (usually to their mates / donors ) to solve the problem.

Claim the praise for solving the problem that they created in the first place.

Repeat ad nauseam ........... you can apply this playbook to any of the issues the country faces today from Power / Rail / Brexit / Immigration etc etc

Help please, this is not another attempt to cause an argument - it is a genuine question (I didn't want to start a new thread, so this seemed to be the most appropriate place).

I have just been watching Newsnight and one item was all about the failure to meet a deadline of 31/8/23 to get Afghans in the re-settlement scheme to leave hotels (ppl will not be surprised to know, it hasn't been met).

But why the focus on people from Afghanistan leaving hotels, what about all the others ? I just don't understand.

Were these Afghans in general or specifically those evacuated after helping during the war?
