Of course there were. Never said otherwise, in fact I said exactly the above. And I am not into "his excuse", it is simply my opinion. But opposition MP does something questionable and opposition pounce upon it. Shock horror. I seem to remember the Tories having a right good go at Starmer's drinks do as well.

Starmer’s “drinks do” was investigated by the police and he was found not to have broken any laws. Everyone knew this but it didn’t stop the Daily Mail having a headline about it for 7 days running. That’s political opportunism based on fuck all. The treatment Johnson and his gang of law breakers wasn’t, and attempts to minimise his law breaking by comparisons to Starmer was pathetic then and still is.

To have broad appeal in politics, you have to appeal across a range of demographics, class, age, ethnicity, sex and so on. The conservatives, even in 2019, failed, as they always fail, in making any inroads into to a number of clearly defined demographic categories, the young and ethnic minorities, low income groups and so on.

I could go on, but what would be the point? You believe what you want to believe and facts are a mere inconvenience, easily dismissed.

After getting on a bus in London for the first time in about 25 years a couple of weeks ago I can confirm that there are no wrong types of bus wankers, just bus wankers!! Haha!
I didn’t have a clue what to do when I got on, tried asking driver how much it was and how far the journey was and he was tutting like a right ****, got card out to pay for me and mrs and was told I couldn’t pay her fare she had to use her own card!! Started to dispute in my own calm and reasonable way that I’m known for then heard some **** at the back screaming for me to hurry the fuck up because they were in a rush.
My calm and reasonable self then disappeared and I shouted something back which might have had some expletives before my mrs dragged me off the bus where we got a taxi, a taxi that I’d fucking suggested we get in the first place until she told me the bus would be an adventure!! Haha!
I don’t think I’ll be getting on one ever again, I’d rather walk :-)
