It's embarrassing, a stupid catchphrase for the gullible. This Government love a basic shitty catchphrase to try and whip up the lemmings.
People entering the UK via small boats are a relatively small number, circa 20k this year. It may seem a lot but in the scheme of things it’s not.
Agree that there should legal safe routes. Save for some special schemes there currently aren’t any, hence the small boats. Asylum claims also need to be processed in a timely manner.
