Summer clear out

I heard Richards was going to Liverpool . From someone who knows his brother.

Having said that it was because he didn't like Mancini.

I personally rate him highly.... Maybe he will stay now.?

exactly. with bob gone the whole landscape changes. one way or the other. for everyone.

Tevez and Clichy out? Some people need to lay off the crack pipe..... Tevez has been outstanding for us since his return to the club and Clichy has been one of the best left backs in the premier league for the past two seasons!

People wanting Yaya out ?!!! What the fuck goes through some peoples minds. He looks tired sometimes ? Yeah running a midfield on your own surrounded by bang average players like Barry, Milner and Garcia tends to do that to you.

I think main problem of Roberto Mancini period was that he didn't have any relation with players, so that team need some coach who will be close to them, who will made out of them a team, not a group with bunch of individuals which will be mostly replaced every season.

So when new coach arrive, when he fix that, than you guys will see how wrong and weak was Roberto Mancini, and than new coach will be able to made selection who need to go and who need to stay.

Manchester City currently on the pitch is not a team, but a group with bunch of individuals, and that need to be changed. Also Mancini too often replaced players, we need to have a stabile team with stabile players who fill feel in club like 2nd home. Replacing half of the team every season is wrong for the team.

Players don't cooperate enough between them, they distance themselves very much one from another, and that killing the team work. They are strangers one to another, not a team mates and palls.

So when new coach fix that, he will be able to made selection out of that team.

Rumors in French press, Monaco for Tevez, PSG for Dzeko.

I reckon we'll see the following leave: Dzeko, Kolarov, Kolo, Sinclair.

I think Garcia will improve with more experience in the league and a full preseason with the whole team as well. I'd also keep Barry although he is aging, he is still someone with a decent footballing brain, but look for Milner to move more centrally next season.

Nasri/Lescott/Tevez - Either or all of these could go realistically.

Nasri is frustrating but he has got bags of talent. I don't think we've utilised him particularly well, I like seeing him running onto through balls rather than holding up play on the edge of the box.

Lescott, he wants first team football but we're looking thin on cover for this area. Nasti has to be given the nod as a starter, but Lescott would be my favourite as backup.

Tevez, it's an odd one with him. You never know when the next hissy fit is going to happen. On the pitch, are he and Aguero too alike? I can only think of one game where they've played well together and that was Norwich away last season. I can't fault his workrate and ability, but if he does go, I'd like to see someone come in to complement Aguero.

People always assume there will be a huge turn over of players when there has been a change of manager. Obviously there will be some changes this summer but I'm convinced there would have been more if Mancini had been kept on.

Hart....needs better coaching, to stop hoofing the ball upfield and giving away possession and command his area far better. Now Mancini's gone he should improve and become more like the one we know rather than this seasons keeper.

Pantilimon...wants to leave, his value can't have dropped much, and he is an international keeper.

Zabaleta....great squad player to have.

Richards......whatever his problems have been with injuries, etc., he was made captain by Mancini last week and looked good last night. Definitely keep him, he should flourish under a new manager.

Kompany......new coach = improved player,..... hopefully !

Kolo.....contract up, probably leaving for free, unless the new coach thinks he's worth having as a squad player, but on lower wages.

Lescott,.....see above, although still in contract, steady defender, but not as good a footballer as Nastasic.

Nastasic,....good player, not the fastest, but he doesn't need to be, can only get better.

Clichy,....been very good the past two seasons, had one off day in the cup final, but why didn't the team double up on McManaman ? Gets crosses in but no height in attack to capitalise on them. Been a very good buy, shows Arsene can't organise a defence.

Kolarov,......not a good enough backup, especially when you look at the right side of defence, more of a right winger who lacks pace ! Could well be sold back to Italy or wherever Mancini goes.

Milner,....good squad player, now around his peak, may be better utilised in the centre of midfield, in league and cup games, but not mobile enough in European competition.

Yaya,.... on a new contract, can be awesome on his day, but cannot be expected to lead midfield every week. Should use him more sparingly, and have a good young understudy available.

Barry,....getting older, but still under-rated by a lot of City fans. Been a good signing for us, sometimes has an off day, but still good to have in the squad, unless we get a silly offer for him, or we bag a top draw replacement.

Rodwell,....hampered by injuries, but may be same as Steven Gerrard syndrome ? Has looked good in last couple of games, with better coaching he could be very good for us, or use as a Barry replacement in the next couple of years.

Garcia,.....hasn't fitted in mainly due to lack of pace, maybe the Premier league isn't the league for him, maybe he'll come on if used in a role more suited too him. Sometimes players take a season to adjust, but I doubt this is the case. Perhaps sell him/part-ex to back to a Spanish or Portuguese side if he's willing.

Nasri,.......Has been very poor by his standards, I'm sure a new coach could improve him, but if a big offer comes in from France or a part-ex with a London club then perhaps we should take it.

Silva,.....Still a very good player, not been quite as effective this season, but either has the team as a whole. Signed a new deal, definitely staying.

Dzeko,......Supposedly being offered to Dortmund, Italian clubs, or French ones. Not the quickest, but still scores goals. Depends on offers received or who is bought to replace him.

Tevez,.....into last year of his contract, didn't do himself many favours last year, but his work effort is a fan pleaser. Doesn't always involve his team mates and tries to do it all on his own at times. 30 years old now, maybe time to cash in if the right offer comes in and we can get a younger replacement ?

Aguero,....not been same player as last year, marriage breakup and injuries haven't helped, if the other two strikers leave then we have to keep Aguero for at least one more season.

Sinclair,....not had a look in, totally unknown really. Staying at City surely depends on what the new manager thinks or whether we can most of the money back, or use him as a part-ex.

This makes seven first teamers max to be sold and one with his contract up. I can't see this happening myself because you can't change that many players, can you ? Maybe more like 3 or 4 changes then, plus some younger players with potential to replace those other "first-teamers" who were on loan and now have their contracts expiring.

All in I think it should be a great window, as soon as the club can announce the name of the new manager and put our minds at ease.
