If, as reported, it was the "senior players" who told the club "hierarchy" that they didn't want Mancini, then the first thing I'd want to do as the incoming bosss would be to get shut of those players! You can't have the tail wagging the dog.
So Yaya has signed a new contract, so what? Mancini had 4 years of his left, it doesn't stop you from being fired, it only determines the size of the compensation.
I'm really gutted, having travelled from here in France for the Final on Saturday, to see so many underperforming players. Mancini has given me 2 things I thought I'd never see, a Premiership title and an FA Cup; I wish him luck.
As for the clearout; bring it on!

Out:

Nasri .... just hasnt done it and ruins Silva's game when they play together.
Kolo .... too old and not that good as Kompany.
Lescott ... too many mistakes, not as good as Nastatic
Kolarov ... struggled to adapt to the english game.
Dzeko ... only good as a sub.
Tevez ... wants to go home, or Spain .... whichever pays more.

Pantilamon ... wont get a chance, rather have a academy graduate as Hart's understudy.

That's a lot to go out and more to replace in 1 summer so expect about 5 to go.
