Summer exits...

do you rate Ben Arfa?

Yeah but I don't think he'd be a weekly starter here. But if we were going to buy two wingers, someone like he or Hoilett would be a good choice as the secondary one (the first being a top class winger).

Duncan Castles says in the Sunday Times that Tevez, Dzeko, and Balotelli are all heading for the exit. (Adebayor too of course)

I'm not sold that this will happen but if so who do we sign?

- Aguero
- Guidetti

We'd need to buy at least two others. Probably a Cavani/Higuain/Van Persie type player for one forward role and maybe a Lavezzi/Hazard/wide player for the other?

we'll get minimal fees for all of them because a combination of FFP, high wages, and 3/4 of them being twats of the highest order. Bad time to be a seller.

Maybe we'll get 15m each for Dzeko, Tevez, Balo, maybe 7 or 8 for Ade.

We don't need to play with two wingers. That is all. One is enough, provided he's good.

it really depends what we want in a winger. if you want a winger who will beat most fullbacks who aren't at top four clubs, and who can come on for plan b then we should go for jarvis/ben arfa/hoillet.

however, in all fairness AJ can do this to an extent, but not as well as 2 of those just mentioned and maybe jarvis.

if we want a winger to start 75% of games (which would be different to mancini's philosohpies), and who hold his own against europes best fullbacks then we should go for lavezzi/hazard/di maria.

i believe this is what macini tried to purchase last summer in alexis sanchez, but he prefered to move to Barca.

I think that we should go for one of each category with hoilet and hazard.

Kolorov : so one dimensional, slow and erratic. On his day though a fantastic crosser:(
AJ: again predictable, slow and inconsistent
Tevez: obvious reasons but brilliant footballer :(
Balotelli: talented but will never change, will always spend large parts of the game on his arse. Will miss his penalties though.

Its not a coincidence that these are the most moaned about players.

Surely he will get shut of Johnson. I'm in my mid forties and have more pace. I hear about our lack of width but we haven't got a good enough winger. To be fair he should be given a chance on the left but I don't think he will ever be up to this level. A flying winger is crucial next season.

I sincerely hope Mancini is given one more year at least.

One huge difference between us and the scum is the experience of the management and coaches. Mancini next year will be much better next year, having experienced what it takes in the final months to win the premiership - I'd imagine the players he wants in the summer will be made with this in mind.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't go for a centre back, left back, winger and centre forward x2.

what do people think about Platt and Kidd ? Iim not sure to what extent they influence the team other than the obvious friendship Platt has with Mancini. Slurface has often freshened things up with back room staff.
