Did you guys really not know about the shop?
I thought everyone ( or anyone with an interest in city and who go on football forums ) knew about the shop being sold, and of course the financial implications of swp sale too.
Am I being Clarkied?!
The sale of the building housing the shop wasn't well known but the sale of merchandising rights by Swales was.

CITY SPRAWL: Man City, meanwhile, have been busy spending their money Down Under, where they've acquired A-League side Melbourne Heart, following their recent investment in the soon-to-be-formed New York City FC. What exactly are City trying to achieve with these purchases? Our pundits will shine a light on the matter - and also have their say on City's FA Cup contest with Watford, their recent Premier League title charge and former boss Roberto Mancini's claims their current success is down to him.

United have spread his transfer out in order to deflect from their midweek abortion and recent form.

You are 100% correct,I know a few rags who are not pleased, and it would take a hell of a lot of spending to make them happy.

What did Samuel say?
More or less that it is a strange deal on Mourinhos part and he is baffled by Chelsea wanting to improve utd.
More or less what is being said on this forum

Re: Sunday Supplement

I thought they were pretty damming to be honest.

We all know Mata is a good player, we all know it's odd for Chelsea to sell to United.

They addressed why it make financial sense to sell him now.

They however didn't seem that convinced. Went on to ask where he'd play, how he fits in with United's system. They also brought up how lots of a United fans, people related to club didn't need Ozil. United didn't need that type of player. Rooney is their no.10.

All in all they were quite balanced, they certainly weren't blowing smoke up anyone's arse.
