Can you really make direct comparisons fairly though? I mean city & them were both known to have plenty of cash, but in the Chelsea case it makes a difference to foreign players they have the "attraction" of being in the capital. And for van pussy the difference is that he wanted utd over us from the start - that makes a difference to the price offered. Really hard to compare for me

No one was comparing players like for like. We were talking about transfer fees and value for money. Or so I thought.
Nasri & Mata = Attacking mids.
Dzeko & Rapists = Strikers.
Fees & value were my original point.
Did Mata and Rapist win the title last season? Nasri and Dzeko are very important players and add value to the squad so why the fuk are you moaning about them.

Totally agree. Haven't an ounce of sympathy for them. Whined about financial doping but no complaints when they had the Champions League monopoly with their Sky4 cronies.
Possibly the most hypocritical club on the go, and that's saying something. Cry about their players leaving when fed up with the lack of ambition, but keep quiet when they pilfer players from around the world to flog at massive profits.
Now they're trying to shut up shop in the Premier League with "Fair" play, coz, like the Rags, they don't like this competitive carry-on one bit.
Looks like the second of the old $ky4 are gonna drop out of the Champions League. Adios and good riddance.
