Let's not get carried away - it was never a proper 10 points gap, but at lunchtime last weekend we were definitely staring down the barrel - no doubt about that!! I am a big believer in turning points and our first win at Arsenal since 1975 may yet prove to be so.

10 points with arsenal away to play, dont get much more "proper" than that.

I'd still rather be in their shoes right now. If I'm being honest I really can't see Ferguson allowing them to blow another lead.

What like blowing 2 points today with 30 seconds left?? fergie picks the team,If they choose to play like dicks...thats up to them.

It's not hard to be considered the best when the rest are shit.

I often get quite annoyed watching MOTD, far too much punditry and analysis and not enough of the actul football for my liking.

Spot on. And of course he's gutted. He's a United fan, and makes no secret about it. I don't have a problem with that; the media is full of pundits who have strong club allegiances. Thompson and Hansen (dippers), Le Tiss (Saints), Hansen (dippers), Merson and Nicholas (Arsenal), Shearer (Toon), Hoddle and Catflap jnr (Spurs), Yorke, Neville and several others (rags). Neville is still by far the best pundit out of all of them; compare him to the MOTD or Soccer Saturday pensioners. Nice to see him squirm this evening though!
