To throw an issue WRT somebody being imprisoned in Egypt, during an important debate on climate change, shows the way the BBC and her are going.

I’m a little perturbed at the way this show is going. For instance, as has just been pointed out, renewables are 9 times cheaper than fossil fuel yet she argues that we should not be upsetting the energy giants.

Note the way she approaches each of the politicians. With Miliband, she interrupts, not engaging while looking at her notes, basically scoring points. With Dowden, she allows time for him to explain the big issues while keeping eye contact at all times.

The political/news aspect of the BBC is disheartening. Only Newsnight presents a balanced view and Tories are reluctant to go on there as they will be challenged. Maybe the Tories aren’t that bothered about Newsnight as it’s on late when most people go to bed.
