Meh tough game that. Had enough chances. Great to see Rodri back and playing well. Nunes really good as was Donna. Ake did ok. Haarland bossed out of it for a change but we didn’t seem to have enough in the box to use space from the fact he had two or three on him. Gvardiol was really good and my motm even though not on for long.
Two points dropped but there is a long way to go.
 
Let down by the fwd players there, really poor.

Haaland doing his best impression of playing at Anfield, looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. Foden non existent.

wide players as usual hit and miss, mainly miss.

I thought nunes and Bernie were excellent, and Rodri coming back is MASSIVE.

Gvardiol with a decent cameo.
 
Bloody frustrating evening that. Some big players didn't turn up for us. Gvardiol and Rodri superb in that 2nd half.
Should have won it last 20 minutes.
Again, some big saves from our GK
Savinho perfectly encapsulating why we are chasing Semenyo.
Doku was great 1st 20 mins when he came on then spent the next period continually giving the ball away!
At least we didn't lose.....2 tough away games and 4 points gained, could be worse
 
One of those games, created more than enough but too many players didn't look arsed. 7 players they had missing. Foden was fucking awful, didn't turn and always played it back to the person who gave him the ball. Good to see rodri back
 
Great advert for New Year’s Day football. 2 goals in 4 games. Everyone looked knackered and injuries piling up. Oh and we have to go again in under 72 hours, great…
 
Sunderland a tough side, so credit to them, thought the ref fair too for once.

Should have won in the end if we were just a little more decisive and accurate in front of goal.

Would like to see the added time stats for our games where we need a goal, compared to where we are defending a one goal lead, bet theres a discepency.

Overall frustrating but not the end of the world given two aways this week.
 
Shite. But we started to look a lot better once Rodders came on; we need to keep him fit.

Arsenal still have to come to the Etihad, so it's not done yet.
 
Positives - Rodri looking sharp in midfield and we battled throughout the game. Gvardiol looked great when he come on too.

Negatives: Poor end product by our forwards tonight, Savinho, Foden and Haaland all guilty.
 
Left ourselves too much to do now for the remainder of the season. Too many off it tonight has cost us massively
