Rodri and Gvardiol our best 2 players. There were some stinkers out there today.

Haaland was non existent but cant expect him to score every week.

The effort was the problem, he didn't fight for a single ball tonight, you can still have a decent game even if you don't score, like I said we played with 10 tonight.

Absolute shite Performance against a second string Sunderland side Haaland Foden Cherki never showed up Nunes and The Don were great

Thought that was a good game, sure we should have scored but some of the blocks were outrageous. Was sure Sunderland were going to nick one on the break at the end so not too unhappy with a point. Good luck to Sunderland, may they continue to take points of title challengers

I think the pitch really limited a lot of football from our side and it took time to get used to it.

Fair play to Sunderland they harried us all game and broke quickly when they turned over the ball. Good atmosphere and an entertaining nil nil. We just couldn't find a way through them tonight. Good to see Rodri and Doku back.
Move onto Chelsea. Lots of games in Jan and Arsenal will drop points.

Every time Doku got in behind Haalands at the back post instead of attacking the front post ffs, especially that last one.
Just unfortunate and great defending from Sunderland, Donna made some good saves too.

Disgusting lack of effort from Haaland and Foden tonight. Better second half overall from City and good to see Rodri get through 45 minutes. Doku started well but faded badly. 4 points from Forest and Sunderland away in 5 days isn't too bad. Need to beat Chelsea and Brighton neither of which will be easy.
Donnarumma made some important saves and Gvardiol was our most potent attacking threat - which emphasises how poor Haaland, Foden and Cherki were tonight.

Pathetic performance. Took until the 88th minute to show some urgency. Players should hang their heads in shame for waiting until the end to start showing some fire

Congrats to Arsenal on winning the title. We're not good enough to stay with them. They're different class to the rest of the league.

The only good thing to come out of tonight was Rodri, He was unbelievable, the difference he makes to the side is huge.

Worst part of the night is looking at Phil Foden jumping out of every single challenge the wet wipe.

Proves we are likely a season too early to get the title back. Being hassled and chased shouldn’t be enough to put us off in the way that it does especially away from home. The team of yesteryear brushes that Sunderland team aside with relative ease.

Fair play to Sunderland, they deserved a goal in the first half because we looked like we didn’t even want to be there.

Second half we deserved to win but again, Haaland has to press that goal keeper so much more. The one time he did, he booted it out for a throw in. Said this once as well, Foden should not be playing in overly physical games. He can’t hack it and never has been able to. He was awful today

Ref had a good game surprisingly but don’t know why he’s blowing the whistle so early? Strange behaviour.

Other than the glaringly obvious, thought we saved it in the second half after that horrible first. Great to see Rodri back and looking like he was before the knee injury. Savinho looked better but still can’t finish and Reijnders, what are you doing with that chance at the end. Onwards and upwards lads, still think that’s a good point!

Poor first half, good second half.

They defended for their lives. We didnt look as crisp as we have done recently at times

First half we were open in midfield....cherki and foden arent good enough at defending....Pep changed it and Bernardo started to drop deeper in the first half and we gained more control...and then even more so when Rodri came on. Donarumma's kicking int he first half was poor....

Doku makes a hel of a difference as well.

Sav played better but he should have scored....that was his chance to out a statement down ahead of the potential transfer of Semenyo...he scores at least one of those chances.

Cherki needs to get stuck in more but like any of those players that get stuck out wide on the right none of them (whether its foden, Bernardo or Cherki) really want to be there....Cherki isthe best of the 3 out there but we lose out playing him centrally....again another reason why we need more options wide (and Semenyo helps with this)

I dont often criticise fans but that game tonight has just emphasised the heard/sheep mentality of football fans...those dim fuckwit mackems having a go at Doku when it was one of the clearest fouls (right called by the ref) on him you will ever see! Absolute morons to a person.....god I hate humans at times!

Thought it was a cracking game for a nil nil but we should have won that. That last half was just all City and we have to take one of those chances. We battled really well, stood up physically which I enjoyed and having Rodri back is huge.

Rubbish analysis. We deserved to win that. Team played well against opposition, playing the game of their lives.
