Sunderland (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

its not a terrible point lets be honest. not in the context of the run we’re on.

last season we’d have conceded and lost.

that said what was with the passing and control, especially at the back. kept standing on the ball/missjudging the run of the ball, wild clearances straight to them

Good point. Sunderland were superb. More intensity than us. Won almost every second ball. Savinhio misses 2 sitters. Still only a single goal in the PL. As I say every week he is hopeless. Great to see Rodri back.

Sunderland and their fans reacting like they've won the league, arf. Their fans cry more than the dippers
9 times out of 10 we win that game but shit happens
Savinho just not good enough, move him on.

Pathetic performance. Took until the 88th minute to show some urgency. Players should hang their heads in shame for waiting until the end to start showing some fire

Congrats to Arsenal on winning the title. We're not good enough to stay with them. They're different class to the rest of the league.
What fucking nonsense are you talking? No away team has won at Sunderland. Not even Arsenal.

Not a bad point tbh.

Please Pep stop playing Savinho. Haaland needs to sort himself out aswell.

I think we'll be good once Doku and Rodri up to speed, with the addition of Semenyo.

How did Foden stay on so long, Haaland in no mans land all game, Gvardiol our best player today

I really don’t understand what people see with Foden. He goes missing three games in every four but people rave about him.

Disappointing not to win, but we gave it all that second half. It was a bit of an old style game and we didn't back down, played some football and matched them for battle. We can be pretty proud of them for that second half, the attitude and effort bodes well for the rest of the season.
