Watching that as a Gooner reminded me of our match there. Sunderland are a tough team and I said at the time it was our toughest game of the season just because they are relentless and put their bodies on the line.

You should have won just like we should have (Savinho simply has to put his chance away) but at the same time you have to admire Sunderland's effort and spirit. Like Barcodes away (and Etihad away for us) it's one of those matches you're just happy happens only once a season.

Too many not at it unfortunately. Gvardiol and Doku from the start and we would have won. They're well organised and we move on, makes the Chelsea game a must win now. Not sure if it was tiredness, but needed more from Haaland and Foden. Great to see Rodders back, just so good at passing between the lines.

People seem to have forgotten we’ve won 13 of our last 14 games and are right in the title race. That might turn out to be a good point against a side that hasn’t last at home all season.

Cherki was poor, he will always struggle in those physical games.

Foden and Haaland were so poor. Sav, and Doku were just, well, sav and Doku.

I think the rest actually played well in a game we definitely lose last year.

Doku was sensational when he came on and Cherki had a good game and always a threat. Not sure what game you were watching.

Just a comment on Doku. He looks so good when he carries the ball and goes past his defender, but his final ball and the number of times he loses possession are shocking. He could have won us the game tonight but he also could have lost it. I think he has so much potential but huge improvement is needed.
