It might not be actual points but a solid goal keeper is essential for the rest of the team, when we weren't scoring he should have been saving us points at the other end,he makes mistakes every game and has the worst goals per shots ratio in the league
Bravo is essential for the rest of THIS team wherever you agree or not. He's conceded too many goals that have valid question marks over them and I've been as disappointed as everyone that teams have scored in the manner they have, but from very early in Peps reign he said in press conferences that we would concede and that it doesn't concern him as he's solely focused on what we do with the ball.
Now the question is wherever we have faith in his strategy or not. Every fan is entitled to view the season so far as they see fit but my guess would be for the manager it's panning out as he saw.

His shots to goals conceded is shocking costing points. He's a shit keeper, but I guess you don't agree which is fine. Can't be bothered thinking of all those sloppy goals conceded resulting in lost points.
His shots to goals conceded doesn't make pretty viewing, you're correct in that regard. That doesn't equate to costing us points though which was the point I was answering.
I don't think he's shit, no but I understand why some do in his short time with us.

And that is totally out of character with the rest of his professional career.

I think this is purely a case of a man who is taking more time to adapt than we thought.

He is Peps number 1 and I believe will be back in the first 11 today.

He's had his rest to get his head together. I want him back in goal and to be the Claudio Bravo we bought

That old saying folks. Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Anyone who says he's a shit keeper hasn't looked at his career stats. It's a very blazey statement to make and simply isn't true.

Fair enough view to have but i can't honestly believe he doesn't care about his goalie not being a good shot stopper as well as distribution ,especially as barca and bayern had very good defensive records i think,in the prem any team can beat anyone on their day, having a good all round keeper will save you points, perhaps this should go over in the bravo thread save blocking this one up

We all want the last bit

The point is Karen that his shotstopping, whilst not looking great for us this season is not something that had been in dispute before.
I don't think he was signed with us thinking he's shit at the actual goalkeeping part of the job but great with his feet. I imagine Pep is as surprised as the rest of us how that side(shot stopping) of his game has gone.

That statement is over used bollocks. If class was permanent, Pele would still be leading the line for Brazil.

Bravo was clearly a top keeper but I for one don't think he'll work out for us. Loved to be proved wrong.
