That statement is over used bollocks. If class was permanent, Pele would still be leading the line for Brazil.

Bravo was clearly a top keeper but I for one don't think he'll work out for us. Loved to be proved wrong.

So your judging, statistically, one of the best GKs around on the last 6 months?

I'm sorry but think that is unreasonable. He had been one of the top keepers around before he joined us.

That suggests to me it is very much form and not his ability.

Came on here to see if there was any team news and all I can see is people arguing about goalkeepers - it's as bad as the match thread!

The point is Karen that his shotstopping, whilst not looking great for us this season is not something that had been in dispute before.
I don't think he was signed with us thinking he's shit at the actual goalkeeping part of the job but great with his feet. I imagine Pep is as surprised as the rest of us how that side(shot stopping) of his game has gone.
You are probably right,i do back him to be good next season if he stays

His shots to goals conceded doesn't make pretty viewing, you're correct in that regard. That doesn't equate to costing us points though which was the point I was answering.
I don't think he's shit, no but I understand why some do in his short time with us.
Although I was sad to see Hart sent packing, I (like many) would of been appeased to see that Bravo was the upgrade we thought he would be. For me, Joe still had/has too many flaws in his game and is not a true world class keeper he should be at this stage of his career. That said, he does communicate with his back line and is by far a better shot stopper than Bravo despite not having the fancy footwork ball playing skills that Clownio has. Basically Barca sold us a dud and Pep has fucked up, hence showing more game time to Willy.

Nope, my opinion is based on him spending almost his entire career in Spain. If he is afforded the time he may be a success but I already think we are looking for a new number one.

I think we can agree his biggest issue is shot stopping.

On Wednesday he faced 2 shots, conceded one of them. Of the top 6, we have the best chances conceded record but the worst goals ratio from it.

A lot like his time in Barcelona, he didn't face many shots but the ones he did he generally saved. To me a shot is a shot, regardless of country but that is the stat which has decreased so rapidly.

It's one of the weirdest things I've ever seen, and I can only put it down to him not being settled in the UK. If that's the case then I'm sure we'll find another keeper

Clichy was excellent on Wednesday. Think he's earned a start.

Kola is currently the best CB we have in the football club.
Agree with Clichy having a decent game and have no problem with Kolarov starting. He is the best Left sided CB at the club.
But I want Dihno at one of the full back positions.
