The biggest thing for me, is that we don't change the way we are currently playing, we appear to have gone back to how we started the season in terms of pressing and formation over the last 10 games or so, it worked then, and its working now, so hopefully the tinkering has finished.

There were a great many positives on Wednesday night, outside of the obvious stars from the game. Clichy for instance had one of (if not) his best games of the season. Garcia fitted in like he had been playing every week. Bravo proved that he can be an asset if he isn't having to defend one on one every 10 minutes, and before anyone jumps on that comment, Pep doesn't want us conceding those chances, and for Bravo to assist us getting forward, something he showed how good at it he was the other night. Fernandhino played further forward, and was unlucky not get on the scoresheet. Zab despite making a mistake for the goal, showed once again how he leads from the front. Otamendi even looked capable of defending on his feet, rather than his arse.

Since the turn of the year, we've played 11 games, won 8, drawn 2, lost 1 (the Everton 4-0, which now looks quite out of place), scoring 30 (10 different scorers), conceding 12 (4 in one game), whilst we've continued to rotate personnel but not so much the formation.

Chelsea's next 2 games are not gimmee's, they should win them, but we might have a chance to close that gap if we continue winning, and our confidence and spirit look really high right now.

Sunderland's Papy Djilobodji returns from a ban but loanee Jason Denayer is ineligible against his parent club.

Jan Kirchhoff and Steven Pienaar are not yet fit to play, while Jack Rodwell is unlikely to feature because a hamstring problem.

Manchester City defenders Vincent Kompany and Aleksandar Kolarov are both in contention despite missing the win against Huddersfield through injury.

David Silva and Willy Caballero could return after being rested on Wednesday.

We should have won the league last year and this season too.

The game at the start of the season should never have been close, either.
Go solid & invite them, leave a couple of flare players on bench & bring back Yaya & Silva.

Hit them hard in the second half.

I can see Bravo keeping his place unfortunately.

..........Bravo.........
......Zaba....Nico.......Clichy
.........Stones.......
.........Dino............Yaya
...Sterling......Silva...Sane
.................Aguero...........

I think it'll be a scrap as it usually is with teams at the bottom this time of the season,we should have enough to get the points
