Sunderland Post Match

Tough to watch, partly due to shit broadband in our locality - roll on an upgrade to the network.

Very scrappy game and we could not impose our quality on it. Kudos to the defence, who rarely looked like conceding.

Just not happening for Silva at the moment and Yaya had a fitful game but both were still our best passers of the ball, along with Nando.

Injuries are killing us this season.

That has to be one of the best series of corners I've ever seen. They caused absolute chaos in our box and looked a real threat every time. Just imagine if we...

Awful just awful, I'd be surprised if one city fan was happy with that performance.

Tactically just terrible, we mocked United for long balling it and now we've turned into that.

Everyone just looks terrible Aguero included.

After watching that it did not build me with confidence for the remainder of the season as we're now in February and our performances haven't improved at the slightest.
Not happy with the performance... But my God I'm ecstatic with the result.

3 points bagged, performance can be consigned to history.
With Zabba, Kolarov, Delph and Sterling to freshen up the starting XI for Saturday (a luxury Leicester won't have) we should be too strong.
Slightly concerned by Spurs though...

As much as Joe pulled off a couple of great saves, he really needs to work on that distribution, It's absolutely shocking. It's always putting us under pressure and that was the last thing we needed with Sunderland's harrying tonight.

He'll have to majorly improve on that in the next twelve months because I don't see Guardiola accepting it. Fundamental to the way his sides play.

There isn't a goalkeeper in any other top 6 side who's as poor with the ball at his feet as Joe is. Honestly think Pep would sooner have an inferior shot stopper for a vast improvement in distribution/intelligence on when to play it,and assurance playing it out from the back.

Great 3 points though, really hard fought battling performance. Just a real kick in the bollocks we've picked up another injury.

Pep will most probably work on that, more than Manuel. All this if x player doesn't do this and that, they'll be out...
Don't you think he will work on things with the players first, before making knee jerk decisions.

I do.
