Poor but 3 points..
all day.
all day.
Pep will most probably work on that, more than Manuel. All this if x player doesn't do this and that, they'll be out...
Don't you think he will work on things with the players first, before making knee jerk decisions.
I do.
Yep, that sub actually made things worse in the 2nd half, especially given our inability to keep possession, just about the worst passing display I've seen from City for a couple of years.Awful. Decision to take off Nacho basically meant that we were likely to spend the next 45 minutes defending. Totally handed them the initiative with that substitution. Back four were good and Hart made two great stops. Nacho was bright and was easily one of the better attacking performers. Entire midfield was shocking. Unfair to single out Yaya, but also very easy to do so because he is the one who does the very visual things, such as try a forward/incisive pass or a forward run with the ball. He's quite clearly judged differently to everyone else on here and i'm unsure why because he was no more expensive than anyone else. Fernandinho was again anonymous when we had the ball. Fernando didn't help us solve any of the problems Sunderland caused us. Silva had some good touches but constantly ran out of steam with the ball. He was also wasteful and awful out of possession. Navas did nothing other than track back and pull his hamstring.
Overall, very poor but a good 3 points considering Arsenal dropped two.
Thought it was a good decision. We were getting overrun in midfield all over the place, 1st half.
It's not Manuel's fault that most of the side couldn't trap a bag of cement or pass water, tonight.
lol king leonidis of Sparta!
Take it you wanted us to lose then FFS
What the fucking fuck,he saved us 3ptsAs much as Joe pulled off a couple of great saves, he really needs to work on that distribution, It's absolutely shocking. It's always putting us under pressure and that was the last thing we needed with Sunderland's harrying tonight.
He'll have to majorly improve on that in the next twelve months because I don't see Guardiola accepting it. Fundamental to the way his sides play.
There isn't a goalkeeper in any other top 6 side who's as poor with the ball at his feet as Joe is. Honestly think Pep would sooner have an inferior shot stopper for a vast improvement in distribution/intelligence on when to play it,and assurance playing it out from the back.
Great 3 points though, really hard fought battling performance. Just a real kick in the bollocks we've picked up another injury.
I thought Sunderland would be very physical tonight. They knew we had 3 games in 7 days and they were rested so it made sense from their point if view.got the feeling we was running on empty tonight in the 2nd half but the ref was shocking and sunderland was just kicking us all over the park and city did well to hold it back and I think that was BFS setup from the start to unsettle us and try and make 1 of the city players fight back so the ref could send him off . defoe was dirty with a couple of arms in the face and he new what he was doing and the 2nd 1 you could see him looking at the player shocking
but you take the 3 points and moves on but where have sunderland got that from they show some fight and guts and its every time Manchester city roll up they look a midtable team but I bet you they roll over next game and get a thumping I hope so anyway dirty cunts
Of course I'd do, I never said I didn't.
He'll work on it with Joe and if he can't adapt he'll be out, simple as that.
