Sunderland v City post match

Funny how people watch the same thing through different eyes. I thought Sterling was as good as Sane today, just that Oviedo is obviously a better full back than the lad on the other side, so Leroy seemed to have more joy. That being said, another assist to his name, keep em coming lad.

I love Sterling. I think he's a great player and is having a fantastic season, and his attitude is spot fucking on. But by his standards he was poor today.

Whos the presenter on sky " and a 2nd for Sane , for 40 odd million no more than youd expect"

Yes I heard that......f*ckin' d*ckhead.............can't get through a game unless they say something about money.

Silva was sublime.

class away day by the team, some breath-taking possession at times. Watched this while in far east and had some shit sky based English commentary who constantly tried to make the game sound evenly balanced in the first half, during the break showing absolutely anything they could to big up the sunderalnd performance. City controlled the game, it was never in doubt, expected was the odd home team surge forward only from when we slipped up. Second half we took even more control, quite wonderful to watch on tv as you miss the intricate passes from the terraces.

Yaya, at times there are few players in the PL that can see and lay on a pass the way the big man does, often going un noticed with his pass of the match touches and thought he played very well. Silva, masterclass again, football brain, game in game out a pleasure to watch. Sterling was dangerous throughout, Sergio ran and sprinted all over, Sane looks like he has come in to the rated toughest league in europe and made it look easy. What he does is what we have needed since the Mancini days, this is the reason why we are attacking with space because Leroy pulls defenders wide and beats a man. Best winger since peter barnes :-)

When GJ comes back these two along with sterling will be taking bets who does the most step overs in a game, quite beautiful to watch and a privilege.

Too casual at times, especially with 15 minutes remaining, but never really in trouble.
The only slight concern was that Sunderland seemed to win every header from their corners.
This is a very good point.
When will we ever score from a corner.
This has been mentioned for the last 5 years.

Pep is class. And revolutionary. Any man and his dog should know this with his record at his two previous clubs yet I've heard dismay from fellow City fans about how our defenders should be lumping it up immediately to Sane, Sterling and Aguero, they're the guys who do the damage to the opposition. Our defenders have had a few hiccups and cockups but Pep's instilling in them a football mentality. If we stretch their players coming towards our goal and with defenders adroit with the ball it allows our gifted, fast slight of foot players more room and space to score. Pep's winning these moaners over, I reckon who would have rather had Pulis or Allardyce in charge.

Can`t think of a decent English manager anyway apart from Bournemouths and I would bet in the next year or two he`ll be at a bigger club.Really like Eddie Howe and I think he`ll be very good.At least he tries to play attractive football.

My wife (who's Spanish) said it was something like 'do you swallow' but couldn't make out what?

Pep was saying to Dave at the end..." Listen , you are MOTM and will be interviewed by Sky. Now my English is better than yours , so here are a few tips
for when you reply to them in your standard of English". Give us a hug

Did anyone notice the 40-50 pass Willie made from a little pressure....don't recall who it was too but it was straight to the player That's what we need from a keeper, mix it up a little because it doesn't always need to be a short pass out. Although think Bravo did the same but it's a bit different when you're playing a Championshop team. Also, not sure if Silva does this and I've just missed it but he came very deep today and was often Willies outlet through the middle.

Hmm sorry guys but we were pretty poor. Play like this against united and we will be crushed. Without Silva .....
