You lot just wont listen, wearing your blue specs - Mancini was never the right manager for us and has repeatedly proved it with his bizarre tactics and team selections;
Alienates himself from his players who dont want to play for him; Centre forwards with no wingers, 3 at the back as a 'one off', slowest most skillfully inept player at the club thrown on as a centre forward to get goals, wingers played with smallest centre forwards to supply, constantly playing a mentalist centre forward EVERYONE knows is crap and nuts! Playing left footed players on the right and vice-verca, using a non english speaking trainer to teach us how to defend in zonal marking (OMG).
I could go on and on and on...................

Unbelievably crass transfer policy last summer. 50m completely tossed away.

Players on wacky wages who are just not good enough for top four - yet defended to the hilt here as being laughably called - 'world class'. (barry,lescott,milner,kolorov etc etc). And anyone caught suggesting this is called traitor/rag. Basically we have x5 proper top four players - thats all.

We won the league inspite of Mancini,platt and Kidd NOT because of them.

Im utterly fed up with 'sideways' football. At least we play for 25mins now instead of the 20mins last season.

yhp, one person doesn't tend to mean "us".

Though I do understand his sideways point, was muttering to myself repeatedly during the Reading game: "sideways, sideways, sideways...sideways, sideways, lost the ball". Infuriating.

Chest beating aside, do you think if we carry on as we are, we will win the league because you hope the rags will implode? If you do think that, then I would say hope is not a strategy. And you are dreaming. We have to seriously get our shit together and fast, if we are tonave any hope whatsoever.

Do you accept that we are not working 100% right now? If you do, what would you propose we do about it? Just carry on and hope it gets better?

Top sportsmen in every field are always looking to see how to improve, how to get better. To stay as you are, is going backwards.

So what do we actually DO other than just carry on and hope everything will be OK, (when patently it will not be)?

Have our strikers been told to only shoot from inside the box? we seem to try walking the ball into the net all the time, where have the skills gone that both Aguero and Tevez are known to possess, at shooting from outside the box?. We say other teams have sussed us out, that is why they park the bus against us, how come other teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manure, Spurs etc., don't have the same problem, is it because Mancini seems to have trained our strikers not to use their natural talents, but to play his way?
I liked Mancini, but he seems to have run out of ideas, he says he "knows the problem" so why does he not fix it? How is bringing a defender on when we are losing going to improve things. We have lots of possession but seem to have no end product. All the time we seem to spend half the game going either sideways or backwards. Our summer signings, other than Nastascic, do not seem to have been an improvement, but Mancini also does not seem to trust them and he does not give them a chance, when we need width, why not try Sinclair and Maicon with Dzeko in the middle? why keep playing Balotelli, only to take him off for the slightest mistake? I may not have the best understanding of management but I can see when things are not right and we cannot keep making excuses. Sorry for the rant, but things need to get sorted and the sooner the better

More width and pace is definitely needed in certain games, but we need someone in the box who can get on the end of crosses. The form and confidence of our strikers concerns me as does the loss of form of Yaya and Hart plus the injury situation of the full backs.

Its very obvious now Mancini did not sign Sinclair and has no intention of playing him.

Fantastic post..This is where he is a better "overall" player IMOthan Silva.
Love the wizard but Mata is proving his worth to Chelsea. Not a criticism of Dave but his goals record isn't great.
